Subject: Disagree about fans
While I think there are some occasions when fans can become a little too overbearing on bootlegs, there are many other times when they add so much to the recording. I tend to shy away from straight soundboard shows, because I feel that without the crowd, it's not really a live show.

Case in point, check out "Roads" from AoD's 12/31/06 show. The crowd sings along with every word and I think this song may be my single favorite AoD single on the Archive. But, to each his own. Just wanted to throw in my two cents. Thanks to all the tapers! Without you guys (& gals), I'd be lost.

Subject: Great show
Thanks Jason for a great recording. I agree there is quite a bit of crowd nose and encourage fans to get the Instant Live version. I was on the fence about buying the Instant Live but after hearing it here I'm sold. Thanks AOD for allowing bootlegging. I hope it spurs sales on Instant Live and doesn't take away from it. See you in Northhampton, Feb. 23.

Subject: Too Much crowd noise again
I must be getting old, but when did it become so cool to sing along with every band at every show you attend.? I know the lyrics too, but I go to see the band sing them!!.Cheering after solos is great, but on songs like "Sometimes" there are about 50 bad background singers. I truly appreciate the taper's efforts, particularly since it appears that he had some "issues" while taping. I downloaded this, but can't wait for the Instant Live version.

Subject: Another great recording of an amazing band
Can't get enough of these guys. Crowd noise is to be expected in a club but I don't think it detracts from the music. God bless the tapers, especially you lucky b*st**ds on the East coast who get to see AoD.
